On November 19th the Digital & Trust Summit was taking place in Square Brussels. It was a sunny day with an amazing view of the city of Brussels. The day contained interesting sessions from different partners and speakers, and therefore brought together a diverse group of professionals to discuss the latest trends and developments about digital identities and more.
To tell something more about the highlights of the day: it started off with an interesting session of the Belgian Data Protection Authority about correctly processing customer related data. After that, Dominque Steenbeek of Mastercard presented Masterchef’s vision for digital identity in today’s increasingly connected world. Several other topics were discussed during the day, topics such as the prevention of e-mail data breaches, an in-depth overview of modern Identity protocol standards, various technologies for mobile identity verification and more. The European Commission closed the summit with their keynote about an European Self-Sovereign identity framework.
We are happy to hear the enthusiasm of the participants:
Thanks to the participants, speakers and partners for your participation to this third edition of Digitial Identity & Trust summit!
