Pierre Marro is Policy Officer at the Directorate General Communication Networks, Content and Technology (DG CONNECT) of the European Commission. Within the unit "Digital Innovation and Blockchain", he is the team leader for the files concerning: Blockchain, Fintech and Access to Finance for innovation. He is notably in charge of the European Blockchain Partnership (EBP) where 30 European countries and the EC cooperate for building a European Blockchain Services Infrastructure. Pierre is an engineer (ENSTA Bretagne) and is also graduated in Business Administration (Université Aix-Marseille)
Innovation and Blockchain Policy Officer at the European Commission in DG CONNECT, Chiara has been working in the innovation field since 2010. She is in charge of Blockchain and DLT applications in the Digital Innovation and Blockchain Unit and is a member of the European Commission Task Force on FinTech. She also worked on access to finance, start-ups and scale-ups policies. Previously she was at the helm of the Brussels EU Office of the Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (France) after she gained extensive experience in Research and Innovation policies dealing with local, regional stakeholders as well as national ministries. In the past she assisted the Director General of a French local authority and was associate professor in Sciences Po Paris. Chiara holds a Diploma In European Affairs, Law and Economics from Sciences Po (France) and University of Pavia (Italy).
Nils Meulemans has a master degree in computer science. During his studies he specialized in directory services (X.500/LDAP) and PKI Security (X.509) and was involved in standardization for these protocols as a researcher for about ten years at the University of Brussels. He currently is the CTO of TrustBuilder Corporation and is product manager of TrustBuilder Identity Hub. Nils has guided many customers through a successful implementation of IAM systems for close to fifteen years. Nils specializes in federation protocols and in policy driven authentication and authorization.
Stein is a renowned solutions architect, working many years as a research scientist and innovator with a special focus on human interaction and identity relations. He was the solutions architect for both the Norwegian Citizen Portal (MyPage) and the Norwegian Identity Provider (MyID) for the public sector. Stein has been working with ForgeRock from the beginning covering many different roles in product management and technical enablement. He has previously held the CTO position in several companies throughout his more than 25 years in this business working for both software integrators and software companies like Sun Microsystems. He has also been the solution architect behind the new ForgeRock IoT initiative and products. Main focus on transforming insecure IoT assets and services into trusted “first class citizens of identity” to leverage all the existing identity capabilities in the ForgeRock Identity platform like authentication and authorization.
